The fire started in Downstreet in an alley between Front and Backstreet at 11:00 am today, New Years day. Four houses were destroyed in the blaze, and when I took these photos and videos, as you can see the Firemen are still busy putting the blaze out. Traffic has been hindered. The police have blocked off a section of both Front and Backstreet. No injuries have been reported, but their were ambulances present earlier. Because they are still busy putting the blaze out as I blog, there has been no official word on what started the fire. The area and houses were made up of mostly Dominicano residents, many were distraught, as they sat at the sidewalks on Backstreet watching the fire department as they put out the flames.
